Arthur is being quite literal this week — what happened to his imagination? I guess that’s why he needs a muse!
Where do you find your inspiration? Years ago I commuted through the rolling wheat fields of the Palouse with my husband, who loves to drive; which gave me plenty of time to think up stories. A song lyric, a news headline, a piece of trash on the road, the remnants of a farmhouse cellar standing alone in a field…all served as seeds of stories. The cover of National Geographic is enough to put my imagination into critical overload.
But a muse is more than just inspiration — a muse drives an artist to dig deeper, to create better.
What, or who, is your muse?
